What is the role of our Bridge ?
Our Bridge’s role is to be able to transfer your $CAPS tokens onto the Binance blockchain, the BSC (Binance Smart Chain) network, where the fees are much lower than on the Ethereum network, whether for a swap or a transfer.
You can switch from the Ethereum ERC20 network to the BSC BEP20 network thanks to our Bridge which converts your ERC20 $CAPS into BSC compatible BEP20 $CAPS, and conversely, from the BEP20 format of the BSC to the ERC20 format of the Ethereum network.
To convert your $CAPS, you must of course already have some, or buy some. How to buy $CAPS?
How to add the $CAPS token to Metamask
To add a token that is not referenced to your Metamask (or on a DEX such as Uniswap for example), you must add it manually as follows:
- Click on "Add token" at the bottom.
- Click on the "Custom Token" tab, to open the relevant page.
- Once on the page of manual addition of token, it will be enough for you to copy the address of the concerned token, so that it is added automatically.
CAPS ERC20 Contract (Ethereum network): 0x03be5c903c727ee2c8c4e9bc0acc860cca4715e2
CAPS BEP20 Contrat (BSC network): 0xffba7529ac181c2ee1844548e6d7061c9a597df4
- The "Token Symbol" (CAPS) as well as the "Precision Decimals" (18) will be added automatically.
If, in some cases, this does not happen, you can add them manually by clicking on modify and entering the values you find on the contract in etherscan.io for ERC20 and bscscan.com for BEP20 (contracts are available on https://www.ternoa.com/)
- All you have to do now is click on "Add token" at the bottom right to add the CAPS to your wallet!
You can repeat this for CAPS in BEP20 in the same way, but be sure to copy and paste the BEP20 contract and select the Binance Smart Chain network in your wallet instead of the Ethereum Core Network.
Here is one of the many online tutorials for setting up BSC on Metamask:
How do I use the Bridge?
You must first connect your wallet (Metamask or Trust Wallet) by simply clicking on "Connect wallet" on the top right.
Choose your wallet between Metamask or Trust Wallet (by clicking on "Wallet Connect").
You will be taken to the main page, where you can choose your starting network: Ethereum network (ERC20) to Binance Smart Chain (BEP20) or vice versa.
Be sure to select your starting network on your wallet so that it matches your starting network on the Bridge.
For example, if you want to convert ERC20 CAPS to BEP20, select the Ethereum main network on your Metamask, and the same on the Bridge by selecting the Ethereum network (ERC20) in the "From" field (on the left) as well as the Binance Smart Chain network (BEP20) in the "TO" field on the right.
Once you have completed these steps, and you have selected your starting and ending network (CAPS ERC20 to BEP20 or CAPS BEP20 to ERC20), you just need to enter the corresponding amount in the "Amount" field provided for this purpose, just below the network choices. FYI, the maximum amount allowed for a transfer or conversion on the Bridge is 10,000 (10K) CAPS.
All you have to do is click on "Next" just below to validate your choice.
You will then be directed to the transaction page on your wallet, which you will have to confirm to validate the operation.
